The main objective of our philanthropic activities is to provide for the poorest and people in need.
Combating Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) in children is at the core of our programmes. Improving the outcome of children’s lives forms the basis of the work of the Foundation, using our investments in health, education and economic empowerment to help lift people out of poverty.

Why malnutrition comes first
Severe acute malnutrition is the most dangerous form of undernutrition in young children. It weakens their defences against disease and can harm their growth and development for life. With early detection and the right care, most children recover.
That is why the Daba Foundation puts the nutrition of children at the heart of its work. We support families and local partners so that children who need help are identified, cared for and followed until they are healthy again, and so that their families have the means to prevent it from happening again.
A foundation born from a company
The Daba Foundation is the philanthropic arm of DABEX Trading Company SARL. Part of the company’s resources goes to the foundation’s actions, and our staff give their time and skills: logistics, purchasing, transport and administration. We believe that a Cameroonian company growing in Cameroon has a duty towards the communities around it.
How you can help
- Partner organisations: health centres, associations and NGOs working with children can contact us to work together.
- Donors: companies and individuals, in Cameroon or in the diaspora, can support a programme in health, education or economic empowerment.
- Volunteers: doctors, nurses, teachers and students can offer their time during our actions.
